Information Table Map Analyze Monumenten Export API

Bevat de locaties van de gemeentelijke monumenten en cultuurhistorische panden in Eindhoven. Onder een monument wordt verstaan: zaak, die van algemeen belang is wegens zijn schoonheid, betekenis voor de wetenschap of cultuurhistorische waarde. Onder monumenten vallen niet alleen gebouwen, maar ook tuinen, parken en archeologische vindplaatsen. 

Gegevens over Rijksmonumenten zijn in beheer van de Rijksdienst voor Cultureel Erfgoed, en kun je benaderen via: Nationaal georegister.

De gegevens omtrent beschermde monumenten worden in de loop der tijd, afhankelijk van de aanwijzing, opgesteld. Daardoor wisselt de inhoud en hoedanigheid sterk. De oudste gegevens (uit 1970) zijn erg summier en alleen tekst. Daarna werden foto's bijgevoegd. Weer later ontstaan uitgebreide beschrijvingen.
